Can tardiness be genetic? HELP PLEASE!?

Everyone's always yelling at me cuz im always late. I'm also supposed to get detention (but nvr did) cuz i was late 4 times. but, my mom is ALWAYS late. she's late for appointments, meetings, dropping me/or my sister off at parties, u name it! can it be genetic? idk if thats possible. idk. is it?
