"Ntuser.dat.log is corrupt and unreadable"?

If you still have the original CD boot from the CD by holding the control key down when you boot up and the select advanced bios settings then first boot from cd then save and exit. put the cd in the drive then power off. reboot and the system should boot from the cd drive instead of the HDD . At the prompt which will read something like rewrite or repair select repair and let it run - when finished power down and reboot holding the control key and change the bios settings back to first boot from HDD save and exit. - reboot. should be ok.
