That generation which will not p away until all these things occur (the last days) are the remnant of anointed brothers and sisters alive right now. When these are finally sealed the end of this world (Satan's system) is certain. The only "delay" from your view is Jehovah patiently waiting for you to respond to Jesus Christ's ministry since 1914. If you do the math it means we have knocked on doors for 100 years now warning the world AND offering the Good News that the New World is near. The debates and arguments over details do not change the evidence. Do not mistaken Jehovah's patience and mercy for slowness.
