How many here remember their American History cles?

Maybe you recall reading in one of those cles that one of the main reasons our Founding Fathers fled their homelands to come to America was to escape religious persecution and establish religious freedom and the right to worship freely without fear? This nation is a free one...with people of all faiths. KKK'ers proclaim themselves to be Christian; this doesn't mean all Christians are hateful violent people. Islampfascists proclaim themselves to be Muslim; this doesn't mean all Muslims are Islamofascists...does it? No. Thoughts?
