In the new testament, Jesus has a punishment for adultery, shoud we carry out that law?

The plucking out of the eye or the cutting off of the hand was Christ’s way of telling us how serious and dangerous sin is for us to remain in; and that we must do every thing we can to eliminate willful sin out of our lives with a sincere effort to put to death all knowing deliberate sin.
