Penalisation 4 not reaching word count?

how many marks do they take of if i dont reach word count. i have an ignment due in tommorrow i ahve been working on it since a month ago but i dont seem to be reaching the required 3500 - 4000 im stuck on just above 2900 will i get penalised and how many marks will b taken off
