Trying to manipulate my period and took pill a little late what are my chances of breakthrough bleeding?

I am on birth control and my doc told me how t manipulate my cycle for this month due to a trip i am going on and the discomforting side effects that periods tend to bring. Today I was about n10 minutes late, if not more in taking my pill. Naturally I think nothing of it since I am not ually active and the usage is not for pregnancy prevention. Will me taking my pill 10 min late affect me skipping this period? or enhance the chance of me getting breakthrough bleeding?
