Women and Gay Men....Why Do You Like and the City?

I am a straight woman who loves and the City. I believe there are some big and little truths in this tv show and movie. The big truth is that women have very close friendships with other women and that is what helps to sustain them. It also shows that the relationship realm is difficult to navigate. The little truths are the ones about the men they are dating, like someone who can't stand a woman being more successful than them, or a man with a small or who is a bad kisser, etc. The tv show amplifies these experiences, but these are things that women commonly experience in a less dramatic fashion and we can connect with them. I think the show is honest and intelligent.
