Why am I hearing Chuck Norris's name coming up a lot lately?

I heard someone say his name in my cl yesterday and it is in the list of most searched topics on yahoo today so why all of the sudden interest? I was a big fan of his when I was taking karate lessons back in the 1980's and haven't heard much about him since then (he was a big martial arts star like Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee). I know he does the infomercials and appears on christian programs on tv sometimes but that wouldn't put him on the most searched topic list, so what's the scoop here?
